3.COMPOSITION / INFORMATION ON INGREDIENTS

Hazardous components are as the below according to EC directives:

Component(s):                %W/W               Risk phrase(s)

Isopropanol                   20-30%               highly flammable

Ethanol                       20-30%               highly flammable

4. FIRST AIR MEASURES

Eye contact: Check for and remove any contact lenses. In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 20 minutes. Seek medical advice/eye doctor if symptoms persist.

Skin contact: Immediately remove contaminated clothing and shoes and wash skin with soap and plenty of water. If skin irritation or an allergic skin reaction develops, get medical attention. Do not use solvents /thinners.

Inhalation: Remove victim into fresh air, allow the affected person to rest. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, oxygen should be administered by qualified personnel. Call a physician or transport to a medical facility.

Ingestion: Do NOT induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel. Rinse mouth with water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If vomiting occurs, keep head lower than the hips to help prevent aspiration. Loosen tight clothing such as a collar, tie, belt or waistband. Get medical attention if symptoms appear.

5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

Suitable extinguishing agents: Alcohol resistant foam, carbon dioxide, powder, water spray/mist is recommended. Do NOT use water jet.

Fire will produce dense black smoke containing hazardous products of combustion. Decomposition products may be a hazard to health. Use self-contained breathing apparatus when in close proximity to fire. Cool closed containers exposed to fire with water spray or fog. Do not allow run-off from fire fighting to enter drains or water courses.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Personal Precautions: Exclude non-essential personnel. Keep away ignition sources. Avoid breathing vapours. Use appropriate respiratory protection equipment. Prevent from skin and eye contact.

Environmental Precautions: Prevent entry of product in public water, sewers or soil. If the product has escaped into a water course, into the drainage system, or has contaminated the ground or vegetation, notify the local authorities.

Methods for Cleaning up: Do not touch spilled material. Absorb with dry earth, sand or other non-combustible material. Dike in the spilled product as much as possible with inert material. Refer to protective measures listed in Section 7 and 8, collect the spillage in closable, suitable and properly labelled disposal containers.

Dispose of according to applicable regulations, see Section 13, DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS.

7.HANDELING & STORAGE

Handling: Keep away from heat. Keep away from sources of ignition. Ground all equipment containing material. Do not ingest. Do not breathe gas/fumes/vapour/spray. Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged or repeated contact with skin. Do not taste or swallow. Wear suitable protective clothing. If ingested, seek medical advice immediately and show the container or the label. For personal protection, see Section 8.

Storage: Store in a segregated and approved area. Store between 5 and 25°C in a dry, well ventilated place away from sources of heat, ignition and direct sunlight. No smoking. Keep container tightly closed and sealed until ready for use. Containers, which are opened should be properly resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage.

8.EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION

Engineering measures: Good general ventilation should be used. Ventilation rates should be matched to conditions.

If applicable, use process enclosures, local exhaust ventilation, or other engineering controls to maintain airborne levels below recommended exposure limits. If exposure limits have not been established, maintain airborne levels to an acceptable level.

PERSONAL PROTECTION

Respiratory: If engineering controls do not maintain airborne concentrations below recommended exposure limits (where applicable) or to an acceptable level (in countries where exposure limits have not been established), an approved respirator must be worn.

Eyes: Wear safety glasses when handling this product to avoid splashing or misting. Wear chemical splash goggles if splashing or high-pressure system is used.

Hand protection: Use protective gloves that provides comprehensive protection, e.g. PVC, neoprene or rubber.

Skin: Use clothing that provides comprehensive protection to the skin, e.g. cotton, rubber, PVC.

9. CHEMICAL & PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

13. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATION

The best solution of disposal of waste products is burning under carefully controlled conditions. Burn in an adequate incinerator or bury in an approved landfill in compliance with applicable regulations. Do not dump into any sewers, on the ground, or into any body of water.

Customers are advised to check their local legislation governing the disposal of hazardous chemical waste.

Empty containers must be disposed of as hazardous waste unless all remaining product adhering to the container walls has been removed. Hazard warning labels can then be removed from the container walls and the container sent for recycling or disposal in accordance with local regulations. Washings must be disposed of safely and in accordance with local regulations. If the container is reconditioned, the reconditioning company should be made aware of the nature of the original contents.
